New Years eve in Thailand
Barbara and I were about the only Europeans in a remote village in Thailand on New Years eve and we came across this festival. They were releasing dozens and dozens of Chinese lanterns into the night sky.

There are 51 of these extremely large carvings at the Bayon temple in Angkor Tom. Each have four head, making a total of 204 heads. Exactly why they were carved has been lost in the mists of time.
